Autistic Spectrum Disorder

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability, commonly referred to as Autistic Spectrum Disorder. It is called a Spectrum Disorder as all people with autism share three main areas of difficulty, but it affects them in very different ways. The three main areas of difficulties are-social communication (verbal & non-verbal language); social understanding (emotions & feelings, social rules) and social imagination (outside of immediate daily routine).
Some people with autism also have a learning disability while some do not (high-functioning autism, Aspergers syndrome).
