Supported Living

Potens operates many Supported Living projects, with group houses, shared and single flats, enabling adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues to maintain their independence with the appropriate individual level of support and care to facilitate inclusion in the local community.

Domiciliary Care (Home Care)

Potens offers Domiciliary Care services to adults with a learning disability, mental ill health and associated needs. This service is offered to people in their own homes or in conjunction with suitable accommodation - please refer to our Supported Living page.

Residential

Residential services are for people who are unable to live in their own home, even with support from domiciliary care services. Residencies can be for a temporary or short period (known as respite care or short break), or for a long period, depending on the needs of the individual.

Day Opportunities

Day Opportunities are available for people who need support to enable them to live as independent and fulfilling a life as possible, in their communities. They are offered to people with disabilities particularly learning disabilities and high support needs.

Respite/Short Breaks

Potens offer flexible respite support or short break services to adults with high support needs, where as much independence as possible is encouraged, and aimed at ensuring continuity of support.
