Acorn is an established life opportunities centre close to the town centre and community activities of Colwyn Bay and North Wales. Individualised support, varied activities, social interaction and certified training is offered to adults of all ages and abilities for the short or long term.
Flexible life opportunities for adults with learning disabilities or complex needs, including physical disabilities are offered along with 1:1 or group support. A variety of fully accessible activities encourages choice, control and peer advocacy.
The people supported at Acorn benefit from a skilled and experienced staff team, a flexible approach to learning new skills and building social networks with other adults of mixed abilities.
The service is experienced in supporting vulnerable adults to get involved in many varied activities and inclusive community facilities, appropriately and safely. Flexible sessions are offered through the week, with availability through evenings and weekends, as required.
