Learning Disabilities Emotional Behavioural Difficulty

Service offering domiciliary support to people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs in their own home.

Takes a person centred approach, focused on positive outcomes for each individual. Supports daily living activities and facilitating access to local inclusive community activities.

The service offers people with support needs a package which includes individualised support & care, aiding activities of daily living.

The skilled staff team find solutions to communication issues, daily living difficulties and any behaviour that challenges.

Working with an appropriate Housing Association, suitable accommodation in Torbay is also available.

Conifer Lodge is a new supported living house in Torquay for adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, behaviour that challenges and mental health needs.

The service offers individuals a support package focusing on individualised guidance towards self-directed, progressive independence. Using a two year model, individuals will receive personalised support to promote their transition towards successful independent living.

Open Day

Conifer Lodge held a very successful open day recently, with non alcoholic cocktail & pizza making, support from local group Speaking Out In Torbay (SPOT) and QUEST the peer assessment group, plus visits from plenty of professionals, carers and potential tenants.

Everyone was most impressed with the activities and the facilities within the building.
