Learning Disabilities
Elm Road North is a six bedroom registered care home and we provide 24 hour support to adults with a learning disability. The home is exclusively for adult males between the ages of 18-65. We do not currently provide nursing care, but if required this support may be provided by the local specialist services.
Elm Road North is a modern terraced house situated within a quiet area, but is within easy walking distance to many local facilities, such as a superstore, café, restaurant, pub and local GP. Liverpool is within easy travelling distance and the home has excellent bus facilities as it is near a main road.
ACCOMMODATION
The home has six bedrooms situated over two floors. On the ground floor there is a spacious lounge, large kitchen, laundry room to the rear, two bedrooms, one bathroom with toilet and a shower room with cubicle combined. The first floor has four bedrooms, toilet and seperate bathroom with toilet and a smoke room. There is also an office on this floor. There is a maintained garden to the rear.
OUR SERVICE
Our support staff are committed to providing 24 hour person-centred care. The aim is to enable service users to develop and maintain independent living skills at their individual ability levels including cooking, laundry and domestic tasks. Community access is encouraged with individuals taking part in the weekly shopping requirements. Access to educational facilities and social events are also promoted. Respect and trust are high on our agenda with service users opinions actively sought on the day-to-day running of the home.
