Fir Tree House Residential Care Home Darlington

Fire Tree House provides a high quality residential, homely environment for ten adults, male and female from 18 to 65 years, with learning disabilities and associated health needs. Service users are enabled to develop independence and to enjoy everyday life experiences and opportunities that the wider community enjoys, and to be seen in society as valued individuals.

Fir Tree House is a large semi-detached property in the Eastbourne area of Darlington. Accommodation is provided in 8 single bedrooms and 1 double bedroom. 2 bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, are located on the ground floor. There are 3 bathrooms, and a seperate shower room and toilet. We have a large kitchen, seperate dining room and a good sized lounge.

OUR SERVICE

Our aim at Fir Tree House is to provide a stimulating environment and ensuring the quality of life and the creation of a safe and homely environment. The care and support received is tailored to the individual and these will be dictated in a manner of approach, attitude and degree of support offered by the staff team.

We place an emphasis on maximising independence and supporting individuals to develop their social and interpersonal skills. We are committed to providing a person-centred service in partnership with the individual. The working partnership involves four main principles of trust, positive regards, shared learning and equality.
