Learning Disabilities Emotional Behavioural Difficulty
Registered Residential home, providing accommodation & support for eight people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Takes a person centred approach, focused on positive outcomes for each individual. Encourages a homely environment, supporting daily living activities and facilitating access to local inclusive community activities.
Garfield is close to the community centre and activities of Mochdre & Llandudno Junction. The service offers people with high support needs a package which includes individualised support & care, in a stable environment, aiding activities of daily living.
The skilled staff team benefit from training and guidance from Potens Behavioural Support & Therapy Team, accessing solutions to communication issues, daily living difficulties and any behaviour that challenges.
Facilities - Spacious detached house with 8 en-suite rooms over 2 floors, with neutral decoration and space for sleeping & living in each personal room. There are a variety of communal rooms, bathroom, lounge, dining room & kitchen, plus a large garden & patio area.
