Learning Disabilities Emotional Behavioural Difficulty
Registered Residential home, providing accommodation & support for three people with learning disabilities including those on the autistic spectrum.
Takes a person centred approach, focused on positive outcomes for each individual. Encourages a homely environment, supporting daily living activities and facilitating access to local inclusive community activities.
High Barn is close to the town centre and community centre activities of Rochdale. The service offers people with high support needs a package which includes individualised support & care, in a stable environment, aiding activities of daily living.
The skilled staff team benefit from training and guidance from Potens Behavioural Support & Therapy Team, accessing solutions to communication issues, daily living difficulties and any behaviour that challenges.
Facilities - Spacious end terraced house with 3 rooms with neutral decoration and space for sleeping & living in each personal room. There are a variety of communal rooms, bathroom, lounge, dining room & kitchen, plus a large rear garden & patio area.
