OUR SERVICE

We offer a service to adults with enduring, recovering and on-going mental health, alcohol, drug, auditory, sensory and needs. This is delivered in a supportive and caring environment, where we are able to promote a positive attitude to service users taking responsibility for, and making choices in their lives. We do not provide nursing care.

  • Promote independence

  • Encourage self motivation

  • Provide opportunities for self empowerment

  • Raise and/or promote self esteem

  • Provide physcial and psychological security

  • Maintain and/or improve social and practical skills

  • Maintain and encourage family links and involvement

In addition to the residential care services that we provide, Parkside Lodge can also offer a tailor-made package of care to include rehabilitation and inclusion programmes. With the assistance of our highly motivated and experienced rehabilitation staff and our British Sign Language trained inclusion staff, we can offer a comprehensive package facilitating the promotion of self care and social skills in a 24 hour supportive environment. The programme is service user led and aims to build on skills enabling service users to lead an independent, purposeful life that will eventually lead to independent living in the community.

OUR HOME

The accommodation consists of eight single en-suite bedrooms that provide residential care and four self-contained flats that provide rehabilitation care with a view to independent living. The eight single bedrooms are fully furnished, have en-suite facilities and are decorated to suit. The four rehabilitation flats are also fully furnished, have en-suite facilities and equipped with washing machine, refrigerator and a small cooker. There are also two pleasant communal lounge/dining areas and a large communal kitchen with separate laundry facilities.
