Learning Disabilities
Registered Residential home, providing accommodation & support for ten people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Takes a person centred approach, focused on positive outcomes for each individual. Encourages a homely environment, supporting daily living activities and facilitating access to local inclusive community activities.
Woodlands is close to the town centre and community activities of Stockton-on-Tees. The service offers people with high support needs a package which includes individualised support & care, in a stable environment, aiding activities of daily living.
The skilled staff team benefit from training and guidance from Potens Behavioural Support and Therapy Team, accessing solutions to communication issues, daily living difficulties and any behaviour that challenges.
Facilities - Large, Victorian terraced house with 6 single rooms and 2 double rooms over 4 floors. There are a variety of communal rooms, bathrooms, lounge, dining room & kitchen, plus a small garden & patio area.
